Remove “Save in password manager” option in GPG pinentry
To remove the option of “Save in password manager” when the pinentry shows up, add no-allow-external-cache
to gpg-agent.conf
.
$ echo "no-allow-external-cache" >> ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf
If gpg-agent.conf
does not exist, the above command will create the file.
Also, add the following to your .bashrc
:
# gpg-agent
GPG_TTY=$(tty)
export GPG_TTY
When you have edited these two files, run:
$ gpg-connect-agent reloadagent /bye
See the man page of gpg-agent for more explanation.
