Display Notmuch search results with Mutt

Once you have set up Mutt with Notmuch (see: https://yctct.com/mutt-gpg-mbsync-msmtp-notmuch), you can use notmuch along with Mutt as such:

$ mutt # open mutt
# type the key F8 # that calls a macro
# type search terms e.g. 'from:john* date:last-week attachment'
# mutt should display matching messages, if there are any
